Also, at the Rhinecliff shows, Jason (didn't get his last name) the former(?) keyboard player for Solar Circus will be joining in on keys and fiddle. I got to see their last rehearsal before hitting the road tomorrow for nantucket. I have to say it was pretty good. There are a lot more jammy/solo parts in songs (I only heard a handful of songs) than there used to be. And Pete fits in very well on keys. Aubrey is filling in well also. There are some new parts coming from him as well, which sound really good. Not sure on the background on these guys yet, but just letting you know, so if you're at a show and wonder who these new guys are, and like the way stuff is sounding, you can go up and say hi. All in all, the sound of GSW has changed little. But, they also aren't playing just straight through songs. Aaron, Lo and Dan like these guys because it is fun to jam with them. Come Rhinecliff, they should be in something of a groove. Then again, at Rhinecliff, who really knows what will happen. At some point this week, pictures of the guys will probably be up or available. Not sure how long until I get sent the snapshots. Take care, and see you at the Rhinecliff. PS. Not sure how much this happens to the rest of you. But the ability to get lost in a song at a GSW show is back. I guess it is very surreal at the time. Anyway, have a good night.
